Homework

Homework will continue to be set on a Friday and will be due in on Wednesday (except for spellings which are set every other Tuesday) however Year 6 children will start getting additional homework this term to try and help with the transition to secondary school. Their homework will consist of spelling practise and mathletics (which they are used to) and they will receive an additional piece every Friday.

In addition to this weekly homework that is being set, we expect your child to be reading independently or with an adult for 15 minutes each day. Please support your child by listening to them read, asking questions about the text and helping with any unfamiliar words.

Thank you so much for your support. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
